The passive switch module contains 2 double-pole, double-throw switches with all contacts brought out to jacks on the panel. Additionally, the lower 2 sets of contacts on each switch are normalled together to allow for reduced patch cable usage for certain applications. This normal is broken when a cable is plugged into any of the right-hand jacks.

As a passive device, this unit requires no power and draws no current from your power supply and is also bi-directional. This means you can use it to route one output between two different inputs or one input can be switched to receive from multiple outputs.
