Latching-Momentary Footswitch
Latching-Momentary Footswitch
For amps or effects requiring an external footswitch that shorts tip to sleeve, this is a fun one. The latching and momentary switches work inversely of one another so, if used with a tremolo for example, you can hit the latching switch to turn it on and then use the momentary switch to temporarily turn it off or vice versa. This allows for expressive passages to be controlled via the momentary switch instead of constantly having to click effects on and off.
The switch does not require power and has one 1/4” output. This only works for situations requiring that the tip and sleeve be shorted together. If your amp or effect requires a switch that shorts tip or sleeve to a ring, this will not work. We recommend checking your device’s user manual, but you’re also welcome to get in touch if you have questions.
